I had a wonderful stay here as the hotel is just a few steps from the South Dakota Discovery Center, perfect for my city strolls, and it’s really close to scenic spots like Oahe Dam, which is great for a relaxing view. although the beds were not the most comfortable and could use an update, the staff were friendly and the breakfast options were decent.

What you’ll love and hate

The staff was genuinely sweet and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were delightful, and the evening warm cookies were a sweet touch for the kids.

The pool area was slippery and not kid-friendly. We experienced noise disturbance from the busy road traffic outside, detracting from our stay.

I stayed with friends and had a great time! The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the free breakfast each morning. We loved the walking trails around the area too. Just a heads up, the fridge was off when we checked in so check it before storing anything important.

The air conditioner wasn’t very cold during our stay, which made for a warm night.
